This month has been such a busy month I am going to combine all of December into one post.
My family started off December with taking the kids up to Salt Lake to Temple Square to see the lights, stay at the Marriott, go to dinner and of course swim. This is a tradition that Sam and I have been doing for the last few years and we love it. There are no pictures of this wonderful experience because they are on sam's phone, but it was great anyway. Then on to the busy family parties and all the excitement of Christmas Eve to arrive. We did have a great Christmas this year as we do every year, and we are especially grateful that we get to spend it with all our family and friends so close to us. We love you all an we hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas. Love, The Higginson Family

Happy Birthday Mom
I have to blog about Jaxon and his present that he gave me for my birthday this year because it is the most precious thing that he could have given me and I want it remembered forever. Jaxon was going to have a sleepover at his cousins house and wasn't going to see me the next morning because Sam was taking me to Park City for the day so he asked if he could give me his present early. He came back into the room with a huge grin on his face (I love his smile) and handed me an envelope. I opened it and there was a letter inside that read.
Dear mom
You are the best mom in the world. You are sweet and cute to(dad) and your nice. Here is one of the things I like most. It's when you sing to me and when you hug me I fill good inside and your hugs are warm. I like it when I'm sick and you take good care of me, and when you tuck in bed at night, but most of all it's THAT YOU LOVE ME!!!! (he really did put the last of it in all caps) He is such a great kid and I want him to know how much I love him.

Halloween and Carving Pumpkins
Ok so I am a slacker and haven't posted for a long time. Here are some halloween pictures and pumpkin carving pictures. On halloween night I had a party at my house with all of my family it was a lot of fun and the kids had a blast in our neighborhood it was crazy this year, tons and tons of kids. Thanks to the warm weather the kids stayed out late to let the adults visit in peace and quiet, which never happens there are way to many higgy kids running around. Beware there are a lot of pictures

Jaxon and Averi's Vacation
Jaxon and Averi got to spend the weekend in St. George with there cousins thanks to Jeff and Abbie, and had a great time. They left on Friday and came home on Monday, and I really don't think they even missed sam or I, but who would spending it with uncle jeff where stories are on going and aunt abbie that is always doing something fun with the kids. Jaxon, Jens and Jeff went to the Dixie Football Game on Saturday and they even got sideline passes thanks to Scott Brumfield, who is a family friend. Dixie won so that made the day even better. There was a lot of swimming going on and they got to go out to eat(which my kids absolutely love) so thanks Higginson family for taking my kids and showing them a great time.

First Day of School
Jaxon and Averi were so excited to start school! They love school and I think that they were as ready as I was to send them. Jaxon started 4th grade this year and Averi started 2nd. We live by the school so they and several other kids meet at the corner and they get to ride there bikes altogether. I hope you guys have a great school year!
Gracie was having a hard time that her brother and sister were going to school and she didn't get to go. I think she gets a little bored with me at home, for the last couple of days she has been asking me were they are and when will they be home.

Anniversary and Birthdays
Well it's been a long time since I have sat down and posted anything, so here goes a few things all at once. Sam and I celebrated our 12 year anniversary! Wow how the time flies. We went up to Sundance and ate at the Foundery Grill it was so yummy and we got to sit outside which was really nice. Then we went to get birthday gifts for Jaxon and Gracie since all of this excitement lands within three days of each other. It was a fun night, thanks Sam for being such a great husband and father.
Jaxon Turned 10 years old this year! He shares our anniversary with us so for the last 10 years it's really jaxons day and we celebrate when we get a chance. I can't believe that my first born is already 10. He is such a great kid and has the best personality! I love talking with him, he never stops and always has a story to tell with a huge smile on his face. He is such a great joy to have in our family and is a great Big Brother to his sisters. Here he is on his birthday with his breakfast in bed.(a tradition in our family) and opening his presents. We hope you had a great day Jaxon we love you.
Happy Birthday Gracie, she is a big 3 year old YEA. Gracies birthday is on the 3rd of August so we do have one day in between Jaxons and our anniversary. Gracie is such a cute little girl and we love her to death. She does wear the pants in the family right now, but what 3 year old dosen't. She also has a great personality, which she will let you know by singing to anyone anywhere Hannah Montana songs. We hope you had a great birthday party and thanks to all her cousins that gave her gifts.

4 Months Old
Our Little Lia turned 4 months old already! I can't believe it time flies so fast. I took her to the doctor and she is a little on the light side I think I was starving her she was only 12.5 lbs (22%). So we have started the bottle to see if she fattens up. She has been the best baby ever and never cries so I thought she was getting all the nutrients that she needed. She loves her bottle now and is hungry all the time so it will be fun to see how much she weighs at 6 months.
